WELCOME TO CACNR

Centennial Airport Community Noise Roundtable (CACNR) is an independent advisory roundtable that brings communities, Centennial Airport, aviation representatives, and public agencies together to discuss aircraft noise concerns and recommend practical actions for surrounding communities.

WHAT IS CACNR?

The Centennial Airport Community Noise Roundtable provides a public forum for communities surrounding Centennial Airport to discuss aircraft noise issues, review information, and work collaboratively with Airport, aviation, and government representatives.

CACNR operates independently as an advisory body. It is not a branch of Centennial Airport operations and does not control aircraft, airspace, flight paths, or federal aviation procedures.

Its role is to bring the right people to the table, help communities understand the issues affecting them, and develop recommendations that may reduce aircraft-noise impacts.

Local Governments

Participating jurisdictions may address land use, zoning, development, and community-planning issues within their respective authority.

JOIN A CACNR MEETING

CACNR meets regularly to provide an ongoing forum for participating communities, Centennial Airport, aviation representatives, public agencies, and members of the public.

Meetings provide opportunities to:

  • Provide public comment and community input

  • Discuss community aircraft-noise concerns

  • Review current Airport and aviation information

  • Hear presentations and technical updates

  • Consider studies, programs, and proposed actions

  • Develop recommendations for relevant agencies and stakeholders

CACNR’s role is collaborative and advisory. Recommendations may help shape discussion and future action, but implementation depends on the authority and responsibilities of the

organizations involved.

CACNR’s Members are the participating jurisdictions and organizations that have signed the Roundtable’s Memorandum of Understanding. Each Member appoints a Representative and Alternate Representative to participate on its behalf.
